LOBBI Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of LOBBI, a social app for creating and joining small in-person events ("Lobbis"). By creating an account or using LOBBI you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use LOBBI
You must be at least 17 years old and able to form a binding agreement. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in method (your phone number) secure.
2. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post — events, photos, messages, and profile details. You grant us the license needed to operate the service: to host, display, and distribute your content to the people the product shows it to (for example, event details to invitees and attendees).
You are responsible for what you post. Post only content you have the right to share.
3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse
LOBBI has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. This includes, without limitation: harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content involving minors, doxxing, spam, scams, content that promotes violence or illegal activity, and events created to deceive or endanger attendees.
We enforce this with:
- automated screening of event content before it is shown to others,
- in-app Report actions on events, messages, and users,
- in-app Block, which removes a user from your experience,
- review of reports, with removal of content and suspension or termination of accounts at our sole discretion.
We may remove any content or account at any time to keep the community safe.
4. Events and in-person safety
Hosts are responsible for the events they create, including the accuracy of details such as location, entry cost, dress code, and age restrictions. Attendees decide for themselves whether to attend an event. LOBBI does not vet events or attendees and is not responsible for what happens at in-person gatherings — use your judgment and prioritize your safety.
5. Acceptable use
Do not: misuse the service, probe or disrupt our systems, scrape data, impersonate others, create accounts by automated means, or use LOBBI to send spam or unlawful content.
6. Termination
You can stop using LOBBI at any time and delete your account in the app (Profile → Account Information → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Disclaimers and liability
LOBBI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LOBBI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts of users or event attendees. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use LOBBI after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
